Kamloops, British Columbia is home to over 83,000 residents and is the 5th largest city in the province. Kamloops is also widely known as the “Tournament Capital of Canada” and is host to a variety of major international events.
There are gorgeous golf courses in the area such as “the Dunes” and “Sun Rivers” which will challenge the skills of any golfer. If you prefer skiing or snowboarding it is recommended that you visit the picturesque Sun Peaks Ski Resort, which has over 117 runs and cozy accommodations for all.
Kamloops also is home to the beautiful Kamloops Wildlife Park, which has a wide variety of wild animals including, bears, tigers, foxes, wolves, snakes, and cougars. There is fun for all ages and there is a miniature railway for even more entertainment. The climate in Kamloops is fairly mild and in the summer temperatures can reach over 35C but during the summer 27.2C is the norm.

There is great entertainment for the kids including the Canada Games Aquatic Centre which has a spacious swimming pool, water slide, sauna, hot tub, and other great amenities. There is also Rucker’s games centre as well as the Family Fun Centre. There is also Lazer tag available on the North Shore.
There are also many great eating establishments in the area which range from fast food establishments to fine dining cuisine. There is a wide variety of selection for everyone.
